If you live or work in downtown Toronto, it is not hard to find specialized therapies. For those in Mississauga, and areas further afield, such specialized practices can be very harder to access. This becomes even more of an issue for individuals dealing with a Concussion or Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS), where traveling is more than just an inconvenience. It can be painful and worsen other symptoms such as dizziness and nausea.
For this reason, Paul now offers Mississauga Concussion Home Treatment, and other West Toronto and North Toronto communities such as: Oakville, Milton, Burlington, Caledon, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Vaughan, King City, Aurora, and Newmarket. For assessment purposes, these communities are not too far form Paul’s west end practice. Patients can receive treatment in the comfort of their own home.
Physiotherapy (AKA Concussion Rehabilitation Therapy CRT) can be handled well via video links and/or the phone. Paul knows that concussion patients are not fond of staring at the screen for any length of time. For this reason, Paul will minimize the time that a patient needs to look at a screen to only those times when an exercise needs to be demonstrated. The rest of the time can be handled by talking on the phone. In general, telephone conversations are well tolerated by most Concussion & PCS patients.
